Great Shaheedi Sammam in memory of Shaheed Bhai Harminder Singh Mintu in England

Birmingham UK (May 8th) A great martyr’s function was organized on May 5th Saturday at Gurunanak Gurudwara Smethwick Birmingham dedicated to the martyrdom of Bhai Harminder Singh Mintu alias Nihang, the fifth head of the Khalistan Liberation Force. After the Bhog of Akhand Paath Sahib kept in memory of Bhai Harminder Singh Mintu, Kirtani jathas performed Gurbani Kirtan.
Where Sikh organizations honored the sacrifice of Bhai Harminder Singh Mintu, raised the voice of the security and the release of Sikh prisoners in Indian prisons. Bhai Harminder Singh Mintu’s Panthic services were appreciated by various representatives of Sikh organizations and appealed to all Panthic organizations to unite to take action against those responsible for his martyrdom.
At this time the messages sent by the Sikh prisoners of Nabha and Amritsar prison were also read. And a picture of Bhai Harminder Singh Mintu was also presented to the Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to install in the martyr’s gallery of Gurudwara Sahib.
It is pertinent to mention here that after the martyrdom of Bhai Mintu’s in Patiala Jail, the whole Sikh community is worried about the protection of the Sikh prisoners imprisoned in Indian jails. Bhai Sahib’s martyrdom was also due to collusion between jail authorities and Indian agencies. Similarly, Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria and Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara, who are in jail for a long time, do not have proper health, the jail authorities are not getting their necessary treatment and even the court orders are not being implemented. Therefore, for the sake of the protection of the detainees who have contributed a valuable contribution in the struggle for freedom of Khalistan, panthic organizations and human rights organizations need to make meaningful joint effort.
